This clipper is easy to use and you have better controll of the amount of nail you want to clip. I do have to file the nail after to help prevent any splits and take off sharp edges. It seems that my dog has somewhat brittle nails, maybe all dogs do? Before I’ve always had dogs that would rather spend time running around outside and that kept their nails short. These clippers work well for me.
