Installation was easy but of course time consuming.The main problem is that the heatsink is whoa-fully inadequate for the rated output. It starts getting past it’s thermal capacity at about 1/3rd volume and the heatsink then starts to really get hot.The PL-1200 works great and sounds good, and since I don’t ever listen to music past about 1/4 the volume level it’s fine for me. I guess if you needed more volume and a good chance of being partially deaf in your old age you could put a nice beefy 12V fan mounted on a small 1 ft piece of plywood and have the fan mounted and blowing on the Amp.One of these will certainly cool the amp:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001JKNMBE/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1Just be careful, this fan spins so fast it can slice your finger tip off (talking from experience)
