This is a nice upgrade for my older system. I had to get help with the installation but my neighbor said it wasn’t a big deal. It came with a wiring diagram and all the hardware needed, including fuse, mounting bracket, screws, wiring, everything. It really made me realize I need to update my speakers too though to get the most out of this. It has 500 watts maximum power.

This pairs to Bluetooth and enables streaming from a mobile device over the speaker. You can pair and control what plays with the small, attractive controller. It also has volume up and down buttons, but you should turn the volume up to 100% on your streaming device for it to really work right. Pairing is easy and painless, it comes up as Planet Audio. You can also use any MP3 player that has an headphone jack, connected with a cable to the amp. I like this, because my son loves to hear his mp3 player in auxiliary mode, which without this, I can’t even work, and since it doesn’t have Bluetooth, previously I had no way to use it in the vehicle except to pack a battery operated speaker.

This is a great solution to increase power to the sound system, and update an older system in the process so that it is more compatible with digital audio and mp3s. My CD player had quit playing, so this was a very affordable fix for me to once again be able to listen to music of my choice. I can still use the radio too though, so I’m quite happy with this.
