I have changed my car stereo twice in the past few months so I have gotten really good at it. This was extremely easy to switch out, even though I was confused by the lines coming out the back. The difference is that these are more clearly labeled than others are. I am not sure that the speakers are connected properly but will wait until it THAWS out to crawl around in the car to figure it out. I need to replace the speakers, anyway.
Bluetooth makes a huge difference in quality of life in car audio systems. I swear I was ready to start carrying small speakers to the car so I could just play what I wanted without having to go through the rigamarole of connecting. This pairing was simple and easy.
Intuitive controls. These controls are pretty easy to use. I do not have to pull the directions out to change to FM. With my last stereo, it made sense at first but then after we had done enough things, I basically just had to start pushing buttons until some sound came out of it. My general willingness to push buttons was all that I had on my side. The important button ont his unit is Menu.
(Plays all regions.) This is a mini screen. The children are entertained by having video in the long car so I thought it would be funny to have video in the 4WD. They do not seem to care that it is a small screen. I have no idea of what the picture is. We seem to spend a lot of time in the car lately.
Sound: In my experience, this sound is pretty standard. I hope new speakers will help my sound system later this spring. I was able o tune in radio stations and I only listen to one. NPR came in fine.
I am really pleased with how easy it was to install this and to use it. The one thing I never like in a car is to be aggravated by my sound system.
