We got this to replace the crappy dvd player the dealership installed "for free". This one plays through your speakers in your car by tuning it to the radio station you set but it also plays through the speakers in the system so most of the time I don’t even have to turn on the radio for sound so that is nice. It also picks up right where you left off on the dvd. Some systems, including the one we had, do not do that and it is really annoying.
It was pretty easy to install. We have had it for 6 months and have had absolutely no problems at all. Used on a 20 hour car ride (2 times!) It’s a good way to make time pass on long car rides! This is a wonderful model to get!
