This Amp has turned out to be a lot of fun. I have a large outdoor gazebo, and I mounted this amp in the roof, along with two pair of Kicker speakers. I already had a large 12v transformer in the gazebo to handle LED lighting, so there was plenty of power to supply this amp. I had it outside through any number of wind and rain storms, and it seemed to survive just fine, although I did recently take it inside for the winter.

=== The Good Stuff ===

* Installation was not a big deal. It took a little custom woodworking to get the thing mounted the way I wanted it, but no big deal. II ended up using my own connectors, mostly to be compatible with other hardware.

* The sound is perfectly acceptable, especially considering the limitations of the bluetooth link supplying the audio. If you really turn it up, you will hear some distortion, although I am not sure whether to blame the amp, or the speakers, or more likely, both. For normal listening, and even partly volume levels, the sound is just fine. If you are really looking for audiophile level sound, add another zero or two to the price of this, and go shopping. If I had to guess, I would say the $100 speakers (and the bluetooth/phone source of the music) limit the sound quality long before this amplfier.

* Part of the fun of parties is letting anyone take control of the music for a few minutes. No one has ever seemed to have a problem connecting to this unit.

=== The Not-So-Good Stuff ===

* The only real glitch has been with the bluetooth. After a number of people have connected and disconnected, the amplifier seems to get confused, and won’t accept any bluetooth links. A simple power cycle seems to reliably solve the problem, and was never a real big deal….
