Installed 3 in a sealed enclosure and within 5 minutes 1 locked up and won’t play anymore but other 2 still hit very hard, if it wasn’t for the 1 locking up right away i would give 5+ stars. And in case anyone thinks i just don’t know what i am doing i wired them in series parallel to 3 ohms at the amp. Amp of rated at 3000 watts RMS, no not some junk boss amp, and turned down to 500 watts rms per sub using multimeter. Been installing stereo systems for 20 years and never blown a speaker until this one.

**Updated**
After blowing first sub received a replacement sub from planet audio within a decent amount of time. Reinstalled sub and redialed amp to 600 watts RMS giving benifit of doubt was 1 bad sub. That was a mistake. Played for about 20 minutes and they sounded fine. Turned off system and after 20 minutes went to play again and all 3 were locked up now. Apparently they do not dissipate heat well since they froze after turning them off after playing hard for 20 minutes.

So final thought… If you need a cheap sub you plan on throwing less than 300 watts rms to then these are fine. Anything higher and these are not the subs for you.

Still stay with 3 stars. Good entry level cheap sub.
