The PA600B is a bit larger than a quart of milk and built like a tank. It doesn’t have the presence or sparkle of larger speakers, but is loud enough to fill a couple rooms. It has decent bass, especially if placed against a wall. (Be sure to have the mid-range drivers pointing away from the wall though.) It is nice to have the micro SD card and phone plug input options. I have two issues with the unit. First, it doesn’t have a way to navigate to the next album on the memory card, you can only move forward or back to adjacent tracks. Second, instead of a simple mode indicator (one more LED) the unit “announces” the mode, and quite loudly. It also makes an announcement when powered up. All this talk gets old quickly, and would be unsuitable in an office environment.
