First off patients is the key here breaking in these subs is an absolute must do these subs are very stiff and tight when there new you must loosen them up for several hours before applying high watts to them.once I had these broken in I have two of them wired parralel to 2ohm on the planet audio ac1500.1 mono block amp I built a dual ported box tuned at around 34hz and the subs sound absolutly awesome I believe I paid less than $70 bucks for them .I’m 47 years young so I’ve been around the block and back so for you youngsters out there looking for a good low cost subs these are a great deal just be patiant and break them in and you too can be the envy of your neighborhood.. update due to the ported box size taking up so much space and these drowning out my mids and highs I built a down firing dual sealed enclosure giving each sub 1.0 cuft of air these went from that low vibrating rumble to that covered everything to the tight punchy throaty bass that I was lookin for the double bass heavy metal is absoulutly awesome and the old school rap is great as well and yes they can still hear me coming from a distance these subs are a bargin for what they cost just be sure to break them in before running high watts to them .I’m putting 1100 watts at 2 ohms through them and they hit hard no distortion crisp tight bass I’m happy as hell !!!!
