I purchased these 4" 2 way speakers for a portable boom box I built. They work great and are loud and clear. For their size, they have good bass response. I have never found 4" speakers that deliver great bass, but these do as well as any. For the price I am pleased. They seem to be solidly and sturdily made. If I had spent more money, I would have hoped for better bass…but since I didn’t figure that 4" speakers, regardless of price, would satisfy my bass craving, I didn’t bother shelling out more cash. I am glad I bought these and would do so again in a heartbeat.
