In my set up I have a 4 channel amp and a 1 channel mono-block amp with a separate epicenter (bass generator). This is what I need to push (2) 12" subs and a pair of 6×9 and 6 1/2 combo speakers. I decided to purchase this capacitor when my system dried my new battery more than twice in less than an hour of non stop music. So I gave it a shot after the cap installation to make sure that it would help me to flatten the power peaks demanded by the amps. Well, it worked flawlessly with no issues and fixed the problem once for all. I’ve never had to installed a cap before so I thought it was going to be difficult at first but is not. Just read the instructions for installation and removal as it stores a good amount energy while charged.
