The manual is just awful – the installation instructions leave out what 1/2 the wires are/are for, I had to guess on how the backup camera gets wired in. Once installed you then need to guess on how to go through all settings menus to set it up correctly, something that also wasn’t easy, or IMO intuitive. Once installed and configured it is easier to use and works relatively well. I like the bigger screen for my backup camera and bluetooth connectivity for hands-free and streaming is nice and works well. As far as sound, I’m fully amped so I can’t say how this unit does on its own without amplifiers, but with amps (including subs) it sounds great, no engine whine or amp pop.
