The two speakers I have to compare this to are the Nokia Play 360 and the Beacon Audio Phoenix. This sounds better than Beacon Audio. There is more detail and the bass thumps some more.Compared to the Nokia 360 I’d say that the 360 is a little better sounding by a hair. It sounds a little more fluid than the Planet Audio Lynx, and doesn’t distort as much at high volume. But it also cost like 4x as much as this one.For the price this is a great speaker. I got mine for like $13 bucks. It does distort at high volume. It is bluetooth and I suspect that it sounds as good as bluetooth speakers can sound, given the limitations of bluetooth audio. One huge issue is that this one is a little weird with syncing. I’ve never encountered anything similar in any other bluetooth speaker. But sometimes when pairing, the speaker actually demands a four-digit code, like you’d expect from pairing like a keyboard.I contacted support and the answer is 0000 or 1234. Important to know for this speaker. In short, great value, good speaker.
