I just installed two of these in my 2009 Chevy Avalanche in a custom sealed built sub box by Car Force 1 out of Rome, GA. I’m pushing then with a Lanzar Vibe 6000 watt amp. The bass is so damn clean and deep is unreal. I cheated just alittle bit on the manufacture recommened box size. They recommend a 2.5 cubit foot sealed box, I went with a 3.0 cubit foot sealed box and man the volume is almost as loud as a ported box but 10 times as clean and 2 times as deep as a ported box. The specs on these are 12 Hz to 350 Hz. But with my setup i was able to shave off at least 2 to 3 Hz. The box including both subwoofers weight about 180 pounds, that is like carrying a person in the back seat all the damn time. But oh well, if you want the best sound possible you can’t do it for under 50 pounds or $50.00 bucks for that matters. I’m completely happy with BB215D subwoofers not to mention the low cost for them, i only paid $319.00 for two of them off eBay, you might find them cheaper on other sites.
