This in-dash car stereo offers a good value for your money, with a DVD player and Bluetooth added its a real deal! It even has a video-in port for a back-up camera! To connect a back-up camera you’ll need to wire the video switch wiring to your back-up lights, this sends a power signal telling the system to switch over the the video feed from your back-up camera. For safety reasons another wire must be connect to your parking brake warning light, this prevent video from playing from the head unit, the video out will still feed video, this is used to add a rear LCD screen so passengers behind the driver can view movies while the vehicle is in motion. Bluetooth allows hands free cell phone operation, first you must link your cell phone to this unit, once linked it will automatically connect each time you enter the car. If your listing to a CD or the radio and a call comes in the system switches over to the phone only, it used the car speakers to play sound and a built-in microphone that picks up your voice, a remote mic isn’t offered so remember to speak up as the mic is in the head unit. I was able to link my iPhone 5 without a problem and have no trouble using it. The sound quality of this stereo is very good, adding a separate amp will certainly improve it depending on your needs and number of speakers. A wireless remote is included, its great for the kids letting them control the system from the back seat if watching a video. The face plate is removable, this lessens the chances of having your car broken into if the sound system looks empty of anything tempting to steel. A plastic clamshell case used to safely store the face plate is also provided. With all this car stereo has to offer you can’t go wrong for under $100! I almost forgot, this also has a SD memory card slot, if you store music on memory cards just slide it in the slot under the face plate and your music starts playing!
