When I received them I was surprised at the weight of the package, upon opening them I was further surprised at the overall construction and care of the build. A rubber cover over the magnet gives them a quality feel. The cone and surround is very stiffand feels like they will handle a good amount of power. Installation required a little modification for my 2001 front neon dash, as the magnet is as large as the top half of the speaker. The metal used for construction is a little thin, be careful when mounting as the tabs will bend when screwed in, if they are not set properly. Power handling is great, I have them running about 80 watts from an MB Quart amplifier. Sound quality is a bit harsh and forward as would be expected of new speakers, I suspect they will change after the break in period has passed and I build proper crossovers for them. I bought these to handle mids and highs, as a supplement to my 6″ mid/bass speakers in my doors. Voices are good but peak a bit around 1800Hz, again due to the fact that I have yet to build proper crossovers for them. Overall i am very satisfied with this purchase and will definitely be purchasing more from this company!
