Update #2 1/6/14 I should have added this earlier, but forgot, back in June I had the chance to meter these and hit 141db on a term lab @ the windshield outlaw style with the pair in my firebird on the same amp I mention earlier, I still need to get a ton more power to push these babies right.Update 4/26/13 well I’ve been up and running on the pair of these for over a month now and I can tell you for sure they are capable of far more then I’m pushing them to, supposedly my amp is 2500 watts peak at 1 ohm (2 of these bridged together) but based on some newer understandings I’ve acquired I would say it’s probably closer to 2/3’s that power which isn’t even enough power to push one of these to there limit and I have 2 but even with that I can get them to just under the threshold where your ears start to hurt (sometimes I can just start to feel it) which based on my years of competing I would say puts me in the low to mid 140’s, next plan is to upgrade to a proper amp, but to do that I need to upgrade the power wires to 0 gauge and get a HIGH OUTPUT alternator (200+ amp output) to give these subs the power they deserve.OLD REVIEW: Well I’m giving it 4 stars for now, may revise this later when the woofers actually arrive and I have the time to build there new box, My main purpose for this review is to inform potential buyers of a BETTER price from the SAME seller (VMinnovations) these BB212D subwoofers are selling here on Amazon for 149.95 a piece (Sold by VMinnovations fulfilled by Amazon), but if you go to VMinnovations.com they can be got for 123.95 (thats 26 dollars less) or if you plan to do 2 (like me) they have a “bundle” of a quantity of 2 of these guys for 238.95 (versus what would be 299.90) and thats not even mentioning COUPON CODES like “FACEBOOK” that will save you another 5% off these already very low prices (with the coupon code it’s like buy one get one half price compared to what you would pay through amazon. ALL THESE PRICES INCLUDE FREE SHIPPING!!!as for the seller VMinnovations turn around is QUICK, I ordered around 1 AM thursday morning shipment was in the FEDEX facility by 4:30PM the SAME DAY, estimated arrival Saturday, lets just HOPE these got better shipping boxes then the last speakers I bought from them (some little 20 dollar 6.5″), they didn’t even come in a “shipping” box, they where just in there product boxes taped up tight with a shipping label thrown on.
