These were a Christmas gift for my son’s first car. He bought it himself, so it is an older car, and we needed to stretch our money in order to get him as much as possible. It is a “starter” system, and by no means competition grade. The only issue I had with the speakers was a broken mount for the cover, which may have been due to shipping as the company slapped a shipping label directly on the product packaging and shipped them that way. Since the other set of speakers I bought came undamaged in spite of receiving the same shipping method, I am still giving them the 5 stars for their price. BOTTOM LINE: If you are looking for competition grade speakers and are very particular, these probably are not for you. If you are looking for something for personal use to sound good and not break the budget, then these are great little speakers for the price! They sound MUCH better then my sons 20 year old factory speakers lol!
