I did a TON of research on caps before actually purchasing one. Lots of people say they help, lots say they don’t… I’m running a 800W RMS system, and before installing the cap, I tried my new amp, and my lights definitely dimmed, and my int lamps cringed. I installed the cap, and for $35 bucks, cmon.. It’s chump change, who cares! After the cap was installed, starting up the car revealed a 14.4V charge on the battery, so I started pounding. The reading on the LED hit a low of 14.2 during the hardest hitting tracks, and my lights NEVER dimmed, and my int lamps were always the same brightness. For $35 bucks, the gamble was worth it, but remember to do your research if pumping out thousands of watts!
