The Planet Audio PL3000 amplifier has been a reliable product for the past few weeks in my truck. The system powers on when I start my truck and works great with the BOSS AUDIO MC900B bluetooth amplifier.
During installation, I added an extra 15 amp inline fuse on the main power cable and a 2 amp fuse on the remote power input to ensure no power surges would affect this product. The amp is mounted under the drivers seat of my Ford F250 7.3L and since it is not being used heavily the amp does not overheat. I ran two ground wires to the amplifier to ensure it always gets consistent power while going offroad on my forest lands.
I am using a set of 12" Kicker 100Watt subwoofers on this amplifier and enjoy the crisp bass response while listening to music. I had to turn down the amplifier to keep the sound levels at a good level.
Overall the Planet Audio amplifier is a great product that can be quickly used to add extra speakers to your vehicle. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting mid-range power and seeking good audio clarity.
