I love music when it is loud and clean. A great sounding car stereo is important to me since I spend a ton of time driving. Muddy bass is a horrible thing to listen to when it could be cleaner. Most car stereos suffer from a lack of power to drive subs. I hooked this amp up to some older JL audio subs and I was surprised when I was able to get them to thump in a way I liked. The amp is straight forward to hook up and looks good. Having the nob to adjust the sound does help and makes it easier to get the sound I want.
I put this amp amp with speakers in my 2012 Scion XB – running the wires from the battery took way longer then mounting this amp to the box. If you have never installed an amp in a car you may want to pay someone to do so.
There is no way this amp is really 3,000 watts – this may be the peak on a special day.
