I looked at the other reviewers and I really want to like this amp more than I do. It went into a 2004 Infiniti G35 that’s mainly my track toy so I was complimenting the manufacturer stereo system, the bose speakers and some two others that I had installed.

Here are the main points (others have made them, I strongly agree). For the price point this is definitely a strong candidate if you’re trying to make up your mind. Depending on how familiar you are with audio, cost doesn’t always correlate with value proportionately and I would say you get what you pay for and I’d go as far as to say I’d still be satisfied with it if it was double the cost. If you’re getting it installed though, installation will likely cost more than the unit unless you’re getting other things installed as well.

If you have never installed anything in your vehicle, this is probably a great choice b/c the instructions are probably the clearest and most accurate I’ve come across. If you’ve never done it before it’s always a challenge but that’s what makes this nice b/c you don’t have to dig too deep in your pocket for it in the first place. If you are completely without experience and don’t have tools you’ll have a hard time with any amp, but if you are even remotely savvy with DIY tasks, you’ll be able to get this guy installed in probably an hour or less.

One other reviewer mentioned the heat. That’s the reason I’m being harsh and I say that I want to give it a higher rating but can’t. This thing gets hot and it gets really hot . I use it in a car that has a fair amount of road noise so I generally have my volume turned up (not bumping the bass by any means but it’s higher than normal listening volume….
