We are currently working on replacing the head units, speakers, amps and subwoofers in all 4 of our vehicles. This one went into my 16 year old son’s vehicle. I have noticed it’s a lot easier to install these in older cars than it is to install them in newer ones (we do hide the wiring). If you’re going to be installing this yourself note that it does come with very good instructions so that is a definite plus. If you do plan on installing this yourself, buy an amp install kit. It makes the process a lot easier. For the price point this is definitely a good amp. Just pay attention to the specs so you know what you’re actually getting. With that being said, this amp does tend to get hot when run at high levels so you’re either going to want to keep it below the halfway mark or you’re going to want to make sure you have a fan for it or that it’s vented when you install, and since the vents are on the bottom that will take some planning. Overall this does a very good job at amplifying the bass and my son really likes it. If you’re looking for a quality amp at an affordable price I can definitely recommend this one.
