I have a pretty high end Alpine amp in my car. With 15 good speakers and a sub.
I installed this amp in an off road vehicle…bought some decent no name speakers and a $150 off name sub. Was not expecting much….but I was pleaseantly surprised how well the 1600.4 delivers power! It’s not quite as good as my Alpine which cost about 5x more…but its damn good considering the price! I also like the remote control for the sub, less wires u have to run around your car for a volume control…as the subs all need to have their volume tweaked, as there is many variables that dictate the ideal volume…too much, sounds like its breaking up, to little, it appears u don’t have a sub. At times, certain songs u can even tweak the sub volume a bit for best listening. Overall, a lot of BANG for the buck !
