I have to say that I love this head unit. I installed it in a 2002 Chevy S-10 pickup without upgrading the speakers and still it sounds great. I can’t was to upgrade the speakers! I would most heartedly suggested that you buy the installation kit and dash adapter before you attempt to install. I tried for 2 hours before I threw my hands up. I got the dash kit and harness and 20 minutes later I was blasting tunes. Without the kits the unit won’t sit right in your dash and you’ll have to cut wires. Once installed setup was easy and intuitive. My phone was hooked up, my Pono player was hooked into the aux, eq adjusted to my taste, navigation was up and running& a CD was playing. A bit later in the day I hooked up a back up camera and installed a sub. This truck is a 2002 with only 36k miles on it. I almost never drove it because the stock stereo was garbage, preferring to drive my car because it had a good sound system. Now that my truck sounds good I’ll be driving it a lot more. I don’t know why I didn’t do this year’s ago. This is just about the best system you can get for anywhere near the price. I couldn’t be happier and I wholeheartedly recommend this unit if you are looking for a great system with the features you most want for a reasonable price.
