Bought this speaker to replace the rear woofer on my 2001 suburban. I specifically chose this one because someone on YouTube used the same one in the same application and said it fit. Mine did not. It is too deep and hit the back of the box. I ended up using the spacer from the old speaker to move the speaker out about 3/4" which created the necessary clearance on the back but caused the speaker to contact the plastic grate on the panel that covers it.
None of the above is the speaker’s fault and now that it is installed I decided to just leave it. It’s way better than the rattle of the blown woofer. Overall good for the money. Hope it fits better in your application than mine.
